FanX Cloud Login Guide
Thank you for using FanX Cloud's products. This guide will help you understand how to install FanX Cloud App and connect to FanX Cloud devices.
Download and install FanX Cloud App
Apple users:
Open the AppStore and search for "FanX Cloud",Download and install the FanX Cloud App.

Android phone users:
The mobile phone browser opens the download page of FanX Cloud's official website: https://fanxcloud.com/download, click Download Android Client.

Windows and macOS computer users:
Open the download page of FanX Cloud's official website: https://fanxcloud.com/download, click Download the Windows or macOS client.

Connect FanX Cloud Device
You can select the appropriate login connection method based on the type of device you have and the current network environment.
NAS Device Login: (Including FanX Drive)
In order to balance security and convenience, FanX Cloud NAS uses the mode of working together with local account and FanXiang account.
A local account means that the account information is only stored locally on the device and is the only credential for accessing files, setting up systems, and assigning permissions,The account is completely privatized and does not pass through the cloud server transmission. Even if it is not connected to the Internet, it can log in normally on the LAN.
FanXiang account are only used as auxiliary tools (do not store any personal data) to help users quickly associate devices when they forget the Device IP or remote access ID. Finally, they still need to verify the local account password to complete login, Take into account the convenience and privacy security.
[Privacy Note] An FanXiang account is only used as a secondary login method. It does not store any of your personal files, photos or documents. Your data always lies quietly on your hard disk at home, and the cloud only records the online status and connection routing information of the device.
Login of other FanX Cloud devices:
The cloud account is the unique login credential, No need to rely on the local account system. Enter the registered cloud account directly. After logging in, the App will automatically display the list of FanX Cloud devices associated with the cloud account. Click Connect Device to complete the login.
NAS device login detailed operation guide
Device IP login
Applicable Scenarios
Mobile phone/computer and NAS are connected in the same local area network (e. G. At home using home WiFi).
Core advantages: fast login speed, no network delay, no need to rely on external networks, data is only transmitted within the local LAN, and privacy is optimal.
Operation steps
Fill in the IP address of the device on the App local account login page;
Enter the local account + password,Login after authentication.

When you forget the device IP address, You can click "New Device registration", select "LAN search", scan the NAS device in the same LAN, click the device in the search results, enter the device local account + password, and log in directly after verification.
Remote ID Login
Applicable Scenarios
The device is not on the same LAN as the phone/computer, For example, when going out to work or travel, you need to remotely access the NAS equipment of your home/company;
Core advantages: not limited by geographical location, anytime and anywhere access, need to rely on a stable external network.
Operation steps
On the App local account login page, fill in the device remote ID;
Enter the local account + password, and log in after verification.

Cloud account-assisted login
When you forget the IP or remote access ID, You can use the cloud account bound to the local account to assist login.
Operation steps
Open the FanX Cloud App and select "FanXiang account Login 」;
Enter the registered cloud account + password bound to the device (cloud account is only used to associate the device and does not store any personal data);

After logging in, App will automatically display the list of FanX Cloud devices associated with the cloud account;

Select the target device, enter the local account + password, and complete the login after verification;

Next, you can view the remote access ID of the device in Device Connection, Convenient next time direct login.
Fast login via historical login information
To improve the logon efficiency, the client will only record the accounts and corresponding device information of the last five successful logons locally (the records are only stored locally on your current device and are not uploaded to the cloud). The account number and equipment information will be automatically recorded; The login password will be stored locally encrypted only when you actively check "remember password" when you log in. If you do not check, no password will be recorded, which fully ensures the security of your account.
Procedure
Open the FanX Cloud App, click the "history login" entry on the login page, and expand the history list;
Click on a history record to connect
If "Remember Password" has been checked before: Direct authentication and login;
- If "Remember Password" is not checked: You need to enter the password of the local account to log in.

Notes
The history contains only the "Login Success" record, Login failures will not be saved;
If you change your phone/computer, or uninstall and reinstall the App, the historical login record will be cleared;
Only NAS devices support this fast login feature, Logon records of other devices ( FanXiang accounts are unique logon credentials ) are not included in this list.
Scan Code Cross-End Login
Scan code cross-end login is a quick login method, After the mobile phone login is successful, it is supported to quickly log in to the computer client through the cross-terminal login function, without manually entering the remote ID and account password, making login more convenient.
Procedure
Open the FanX Cloud client on the computer, and click "scan code login" on the login interface 」;

On the mobile phone side, enter the "My" page, click the scan icon in the upper right corner; Use the mobile phone App to scan the login QR code displayed on the computer side;

Confirm the login authorization on the mobile phone, and the computer will automatically complete the security verification and login without entering any account information.
